For the exclusive use of guests at Knockavallen Lodge there is a comprehensive A4 handbook which is packed with helpful information. This includes a generous selection of brochures depicting local tourist spots & leisure pursuits for you to plan your holiday.

Special Activities for Children:

As this is family friendly accommodation we operate a NO SMOKING policy. Children are especially welcome & we endeavour to make their holiday an enjoyable one. There is a children’s book & DVD Library, with a selection for adults as well! Also available is a variety of board games to occupy the whole family.

A popular  innovation made available to children this year is a set of activity/ information /colouring worksheets related to farming. These are chosen to suit your children's age. A special Knockavallen certificate awaits each child/young person when the worksheets are completed and this year six certificates have already been presented!

Outdoors there is plenty of opportunity for games on the lawn.  When the weather allows, there is a small tent and tunnel to amuse the very young. You may even be lucky enough to feed some calves! Nearby there are quiet country roads which are relatively safe for cycling should you bring your bicycle.
